puritans

QUESTION 1: The puritans basic beliefs and everyday life rules are that god saves only people who he wants to save, Jesus died for only a select few people not everyone, every man and woman are born sinful, to get gods grace he must want to give it to you, if god chooses you you can interpret his will, they believe in typology(the belief that gods intentions are presented in human action and in natural phenomenon and history repeats itself in a cycle), they believe in manifest destiny, and backsliding(those with signs of grace can fall into temptation and become sinners).

QUESTION 2: The puritans way of life was very difficult, being the only people to come across the ocean to unknown land with no inhabitants having to start from scratch. Puritans were very lucky to halved survive without the with basic necessities to everyday life like already cut meat, housings, clothes, doctors, medicines, and etc. Their laws were really dumb but efficient in its own way. To sum it all up their everyday basic life was similar to cave men.
Their aspects were on life was crazy like they were fascinated with death you got to be crazy with to be fascinated wit death. Another is the undermining of puritanism, one example of it is when you use the power of your mind to understand god then use the bible to.
Some laws or beliefs they had really did keep the colony straight. It wasn't much civil crimes and acts of violence until the signs of witch craft appear and the government start killing innocence people.
Their system for distributing land was the only thing i like about the puritans because it was fair to all the people not just the rich. The young men help the women with kids that had no husbands in there fields wit no compensation, women would go out and help the men wit no wives wit house work and other odd and ins.

QUESTION 3: The first belief i chose was the perseverance of the saints and the example of this is Jonathan Edwards when he gave the sermon "Sinners in the hands of a angry god"
The second belief is Manifest Destiny and an example of that is when John Winthrop gave his sermon in 1620
The third belief is Irresistible Grace

Question 4: The example of plain style that i found came from the text in Of Plymouth Plantation under Private and Communal Farming and is stated that the young men in the village would go and help the women with their farming and other things for no money, don't get me wrong it's good to help sometimes but all the time without any money, couldn't been me!
I couldn't have live back then cause all they do is work and be fearful of god, that's just not a world for me.I know the young people had to sick and tired of that but if that's all u know that's all you know.
