What is original sin? That every man is born with sin cause of Adam and Eve
How did the Transcendentalists feel about it? That because of their fault you should be punished for it.
Question 1: Hawthorne's would disagree with this because he felt his grandfather was evil for what he did in the early days. Melville would disagree with them because he sailed around the world and witness the evil in people. Poe would disagree with them because he was drove insane wit all the misery that occurred in his life.
Question 2: I'm more of a dark romanticise than a transcendentalist because i see the evil in people everyday where i live.
Question 3: Hop-Frog was a great story and an good example of Dark Romanticism. I like the ending of the story when he got his freedom from the king. Dark Romanticism was presented in the story in different people in the story. First was the king for striking Trippetta down for asking to spare her friend cause it was his birthday. The second was when Hop Frog killed the king and all of his council to get his freedom.
Question 4: In the story there was a paragaph that stuck out to me, the paragraph was
"Prophet!" said I, "thing of evil!--prophet still, if bird or devil!--Whether Tempter sent, or whether tempest tossed thee here ashore,Desolate, yet all undaunted, on this desert land enchanted--On this home by Horror haunted--tell me truly, I implore--Is there--is there balm in Gilead?--tell me--tell me, I implore!"Quoth the Raven, "Nevermore." This paragarph is a good form of an anti-transcendentlist because the bird was just evil to me.
Question 5: Edgar Allen Poe had numorous suicide attempts and unsuccessful relationships and engagements during the time after his wife died. I feel the reason for the style of writing he wrote was the fact that he had so much pain and misery in his life

This looks pretty good. You should check up on your Transcendentalists, though. They did not believe in Original Sin at all.
