Transcendentalism

1. What is original sin? when Adam and eve fail to do god will.

2.How did the Puritans feel about original sin? That god hated everybody for that.

3. How did the Rationalists differ from the Puritans? Rationalists believe that the world can be explain by science and Puritans believe if god didn't explain it it's not true or fit.

4. What is Romanticism? The thought that emphasizes intuition over logic, and feeling over reason.

Question 1: The story of nature was very interesting to me, it talks about how mankind can get in touch with nature through a physical and spiritual form. Really if you ask me i think the man was crazy to say that, cause you can make a mental bond wit nature but not a physical bond. If you talk to nature will it talk back, no and if you spend all of your time with nature will make it you into an unhumanly form, no that's why i say the that man is crazy but that's his opinion.

Question 2: Self-Reliance is a good story to read if you or somebody you know is feeling a little less confident then before. To me its motivates you to to be strong and to have courage in yourself even when there is no courage left in you. The man who wrote this had to be some type of motivator because he has powerful words in his writings.

Question 3: Henry David Thoreau seems like an civil leader on his day. In the story he talks about their government and how it doesn't serve the but serve itself. I can relate to him on his statements because sometimes i be feeling the same way about our govt today. He also talks about how spending time in jail made him wake up and see the world for what it is.

Scenario 2 seems like a tough situation, Chris really needs to what he feels is best. If he doesn't want to become a lawyer don't become one. You shouldn't be in a career don't doesn't excite or interest you because you hate to go to work everyday and eventually quit. A Transcendentalists would feel the same way i feel about the situation.
